Week 8: Swaddle Me Retired?

I haven't swaddled Nathan to sleep since Saturday now and he seems to not be missing it. Perhaps I can retire the Swaddle Me's? I was originally a bit worried that he'd wake himself up after waking up to feed without the swaddle at night but it seems he can just go back to sleep. :) Yay!

Nathan's now 8 weeks old. We weighed him at G&K's place with a kitchen scale again last Friday night. He's 9lbs 14oz and 56cm now. 3lbs up from birth weight though still very much a shrimp. Still in the 20 something percentile. He's still eating every 2-3 hours, though tonight he's been eating every 1.5 hours. Not sure why he's so hungry. Oh he just woke up to eat again (well at least it's close to 2 hrs this time). Will continue this later.

Okay, so the comment about retiring the swaddle? I take that back. We had a lot of trouble transferring him from our arms to the bed without his arms flailing and waking him up, so we had to put him back in the swaddle. Ah well. I guess we'll try again in a few days.
