Merry Christmas!

Having been pregnant and having Nathan this year gives me added insight into the nativity story. I can't imagine travelling 10 hours on a mule while 39 weeks pregant. Nor can I imagine delivering Nathan in a stable and wrapping him in a manger.

It also makes me ask questions about things I never thought of. I wonder if Baby Jesus was colicky? or fussy?

Interestingly enough, I no longer feel the anticipation for Christmas like I once did. Perhaps it's because I know all the gifts I receive will just be for Nathan. :P Or because there's no such thing as sleeping and waking up Christmas morning because I would have been up two or three times by then. I do however, feel super blessed to have Nathan spend Christmas with us, and that's enough.

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
